Congressional Reform

• End partisan gerrymandering by mandating independent redistricting commissions

• Ban congressional stock trading except through blind trusts

• Close the revolving door between Congress and corporate lobbyists

• Implement reasonable term limits

• Require members to hold quarterly in person town halls, completely open to the public, to increase accountability to constituents

Judicial Reform 

• Enact term limits for all Federal Judges

• Extend ethical standards of Federal Judges to members of the Supreme Court

Executive Reform

• Restrict personal wealth building for the President, his cabinet, and all politically appointed executive branch staff, including the transfer of money from foreign governments to officials and their families

• Require the President to place personal business matters and investments in a blind trust

• Institute reasonable ethics limitations on former Federal elected officials and political appointees, including bans on government lobbying

Across all Branches of Government

• Overturn Citizens United and require full transparency of all contributions

• Reduce the influence of money in politics, including closing loopholes that result in the transfer of campaign funds to an office holder or his family

• Address the current ambiguity in what constitutes an oath of office violation

• Establish procedural mechanisms for determining when an individual has engaged in conduct disqualifying them from office

• Strengthen protections for whistleblowers

• Authorize an independent governmental watchdog commission to investigate alleged violations of the oath of office, with the power to make binding recommendations for disciplinary action
