Bring down the cost of the things families can't skip.

Folks here are working as hard as they ever have and still falling behind. Groceries, housing, utilities, health care: the cost of everything keeps climbing while paychecks stay flat. These are the first things I will take on, because they hit every family in this district.

Everyday Costs

• End the across-the-board tariffs that act as a 15 percent tax on nearly everything American families buy.

• Bring down grocery costs by ending tariff-driven price spikes and protecting the food assistance that thousands of SC-7 families depend on.

• Take on the rising utility bills squeezing households, so working families are not watching their power bill climb month after month.

Wages, Retirement, and Housing

• Raise the federal minimum wage to $20 an hour so a full-time job covers the basics.

• Protect Social Security and remove the income cap so the highest earners pay in like everyone else, adding decades of solvency to the program.

• Expand the tools that make home buying attainable again for first-time and working families.
