1 Year Strong - 200 Days to Go!
🎉 One year ago today, I made a promise to the people of South Carolina's 7th District — and we've been keeping it ever since. 🎉
April 17, 2025. That's the day I stood up and said: enough. Enough of leaders who look the other way. Enough of politics that divide us. Enough of a Congress that works for the powerful few instead of the hardworking families of our eight counties.
One year later, our campaign and supporters are more committed than ever — and we are just getting started. 💪________________________________________________________________________________
But I want to be honest with you about something — because you deserve honesty from me.
This election is not just another race. The direction our country is heading under the current administration is deeply, fundamentally wrong. The damage being done to working families, to our institutions, to the values we hold dear — it is real, and it is urgent. To stop it, we must flip the House of Representatives in these midterm elections. That is the mission. That is what November is about.
Deb and I wake up every single morning knowing that. And it makes us push harder.

What this year has given us is something no campaign can buy:
▶️ The farmer in the Pee Dee who stopped us at a roadside stand to say, "I didn't think anyone in Washington cared about us anymore." We care.
▶️ The senior in Marion County who explained how each month she has to pick what expenses to pay — and choose what she has to push off. We understand the issues seniors in our district face.
▶️ The veteran in Horry County who waited months for a VA appointment and just needed someone to listen. We listen.
▶️ The single mom in Florence who works two jobs and still worries about keeping the lights on — she looked me in the eye and said, "I trust you." We don't take that lightly. Not for one second.
That trust is not a talking point. It is a responsibility — and our campaign staff, Deb, and I feel the weight of it every single day.

People told us we couldn't keep up this pace.
And yes — there are days when it is exhausting. For me. For Deb. For our incredible staff who pour themselves into this cause every single day.
But here's what happened instead of slowing down: we accelerated.
People told us we'd get jaded — that the political machine would wear us down and hollow us out.
It hasn't.
We have the commitment. We have the passion. We have the stamina to go all the way — and to win.
Every single day, Deb and I remind ourselves and each other: this is about winning. Not for us. For the farmer in the Pee Dee. For the senior in Marion County. For the veteran in Horry County. For that single mom who trusted me with her eyes wide open.
We cannot change what ails this district — or this country — unless we win. And we intend to win.

Here's what one year on the road has taught us:
The people of SC-7 are not broken. They are strong. They are generous. And they deserve leadership that puts People Over Politics.
From the shores of Myrtle Beach to the farmlands of the Pee Dee, we've heard your stories. We've shaken your hands. We've sat at your kitchen tables. And what we've found, over and over again, is a district full of neighbors who want the same things — safety, opportunity, dignity, and a government that actually works for them.
🌊 And the momentum? It's REAL. 🌊
Our volunteer base is growing. Our community conversations are expanding. New voices are joining this movement every single week — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are tired of the noise and ready for leadership that unites instead of divides.
As I always say: "Weak leaders divide us. Strong leaders unite us."
This campaign is proof that unity is not just possible — it is powerful.
